The Antlers Center is a proposed redevelopment in downtown Colorado Springs to include the Antlers Castle on the site of the original Antlers Hotel & an adjacent new Antlers Tower where there is currently a parking lot.

The Antlers Center Castle & Tower are an iconic pairing which represent the synthesis of technology & tradition in our community.

The Antlers Castle takes an approach which honors, restores, & preserves some of our regions’ lost history & legacy, while the Tower invites our downtown core into the future in a way that will generate substantial daily benefits for tourists & locals.

The Tower and its generous public spaces, including a public 15th floor garden & terrace overlooking the castle creates a welcoming new shared downtown core that celebrates Palmer’s vision for Colorado springs with contributions to our public space.

This is a resource for learning about the proposed redevelopment of the current Antlers Hotel & First Bank Building into a historically-accurate reconstruction of the Antlers 2 castle (1901-1960) & mixed use office tower featuring a fully restored version of the Chief & Ute Theaters, and more.

Antlers Castle

The Antlers Castle is a proposed re-construction of the original 1901 castle on the current site of the Antlers 3 & Holly Sugar Building. It may be slightly bigger to accommodate more rooms & modern facilities like AC.

Historical Redevelopment Details

The Antlers Castle redevelopment as proposed here, will restore Antlers Park — the city’s main original park and restore its glorious direct Pikes Peak view.

This restoration of Antlers Park in the 21st century will provide a continuous walkable downtown area from the United States Olympic Museum & the new Park Union neighborhood, all the way through the Antlers grounds & into the rest of downtown.
